Delivery information

USEFUL INFORMATION WHEN TAKING DELIVERY OF ALL GOODS

ARRANGING DELIVERY

1. After placing your order, in due course on certain goods the shipping company will contact you to schedule a time to drop off your delivery. For this reason, it’s extremely important to provide your main contact number at the time of placing an order. If in doubt, please check to confirm prior to placing your order.

1.1 The majority of our products ship on standard pallets. The transport will be by lorry with a tail lift, the driver will put the pallet at the front of your property but you will be responsible for any further movement.

1.2 On other goods our shipment is by courier in carton boxes without pallets. If in doubt please contact the sellers.

1.3 It is the customer’s responsibility to notify us, in advance, of any delivery difficulties which may be expected, including narrow roads, or useful information on how to find you. Failure to do so may result in an additional delivery charge being levied. Please note that any carriage charges caused by aborted delivery are the customer’s responsibility.

1.4 Delivery vehicles for items on pallets are large with tail lift facilities, adequate access space is required, Delivery is roadside only, meaning the driver will move the pallet by pallet truck on hard standing ground. It is not the driver’s responsibility to move or assemble your machine beyond the kerb. Unless you have agreed with us in writing and in advance

1.5 A carrier will deliver to site but not to locations within site (such as upper floors or areas requiring special access), installation is not provided. There must be adequate facility and or personnel at the receiving address to offload goods in excess of 30 kilos. Aborted deliveries maybe charged for.

1.6 If, for any reason the delivery cannot be completed due to absence of recipient at address, the goods will be returned to depot. A new delivery will incur an extra surcharge before goods are released for second attempt at delivery. Please refer to clause 1.3

1.7 We deliver throughout the UK, delivery to remote areas, highland and Islands may incur a separate surcharge. Contact us for further information. We reserve the right to amend our delivery charge after the order has been placed in the event of any increase in the cost to the seller of supplying the goods.

1.8 Delivery Times quoted are approximate. If in doubt, please check to confirm prior to placing your order.

1.9 A specialist delivery, assembly and installation service is available for certain items and this will be quoted on a case by case basis, please contact us for more information before placing an order with the seller.

DELIVERY

2. Delivery of goods shall be made to the buyers address in accordance with the buyer submitting the confirmed delivery address upon purchase order. The buyer would have made all necessary arrangements to take delivery of the goods whenever they are tendered for delivery. Please thoroughly inspect your products immediately upon delivery before you sign for them. Items must be thoroughly examined at the time of delivery before you sign for them. Maintain the original packaging until you have determined that the product is satisfactory.

2.1 In the rare occurrence that a product arrives damaged please note this on the delivery note with the driver. In the event that the freight item arrives damaged please thoroughly inspect the package for any external or internal damages while the driver is present. Please note this on the delivery note with the driver as a witness.

2.2 We being the seller cannot accept any returns, refunds, or replacements for damaged items if the delivery has been signed for and accepted as good.

2.3 Once you have received and signed for the package, the shipping company and we the supplier are released from any responsibility for damage and all damage claims will be denied, so it is essential to inspect the package thoroughly.

2.4 At times, pictures of the damaged item may be required prior to determining a resolution. After the 24hrs period, the product cannot be reported as damaged, defective, missing parts and/or returned forexchange or refund.

2.5 You must contact us within 24hrs from the date of delivery to report damaged, missing or defective merchandise to enable a claim to be made on the carrier. If the buyer shall fail to comply with these provisions the goods shall be conclusively presumed to be in accordance with the contract and free from any defect or damage which would be apparent on a reasonable examination of the goods and the buyer shall be deemed to have accepted the goods.

2.6 Goods delivered are used, stored and installed at the Customer’s own risk and the seller will not be liable for any damage, loss or disruption caused by the same. Where installation services have been ordered by the Customer, further charges, terms and conditions may apply as communicated by Fast Popcorn to the Customer before delivery.

WARRANTY:To supply to manufacturers parts only Limited warranty, any partwhich proves to be defective in material or workmanship within 12 months from the dateof purchase providing such part is returned and despatch charges prepaid. This warranty does not apply to a part damaged by accident, abuse, misapplication or misuse.

Neither can we honour any claims for repairs in relation to this.This contract is subject to the law of England and Wales
